Well I did some spring cleaning around the website (still making minor adjustments). This May will mark my blogs 1year anniversary but I didn’t want to wait that long to make some changes. As you can see they are some pretty big differences.
I wanted this site too look a little more clean, and I really wanted to add some sort of wow to the homepage. I chose this layout for the large “featured” slider on the splash page, the images really pop out and helps give the posts a little something extra. The overall color of the site is muted to help the photos of my work or student activities stand out more. The format of the pages are much cleaner and I like that I have control over more functions and features as the administrator.
Along with the site, I’ve put in an order for new business cards. To help mirror the site I’m going with a white card. I need to reorder for 2 reasons; one reason was to get a fresh look on things but the main reason is I only have 6 or 7 left from my first order. It might be because I only got 100 the first time.
