The July summer camp at RGVAS was all about exploring movies. The final genre of the week was westerns. In my opinion, nothing says western like a desert sunset. I wanted the kids to experience something new this month so we started our paintings by applying color with palate knives. This months group of students created their own composition studying my painting for guidance.
